This week I finished reading Triangle: The Fire That Changed America by David Von Drehle. It starts with the garment workers' strike and has a lot about Clara Lemlich and Tammany Hall. The book has a lot of social history and is well worth reading. Thanks to Gena Philibert-Ortega for the recommendation.
it's always inspiring to hear how one person can make a difference...
It is! It’s a great reminder that our voice can be heard, even when we feel like it can.
Fascinating story and such incredible research to learn about these unknown heroes in our history.
Thank you, Sandy!! She was so interesting and inspiring. ❤️
